An exciting opportunity has become available with our prestigious client who is a prominent government department. The client is seeking an experienced Senior Delivery Manager to join their welcoming team.

 

The Senior Delivery Manager Role:

Consider a Recall is part of Probation Digital’s protecting the public digital services.

 

Key objectives of the service include:

? improved consistency to Recall decision making

? reduced probation practitioner time and effort

? increased capacity to exercise professional judgement

 

Consider a Recall is a live service that requires maintenance and continuous improvement. This role is an opportunity to bring a blend of agile, project management and technical skills to manage an essential service with a complex stakeholder group.

You will be part of a multifunctional agile team, working with roles including software developers, product manager, user researchers, designers, and business analysts.

 

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following:

? Technical knowledge - sufficient to navigate and facilitate technical discussions with the team, and to manage technical dependencies with third parties

? Agile and Lean Practices - coach and lead teams in Agile and Lean practices act as a recognised expert and advocate for the approaches, continuously reflecting and challenging the team create or tailor new ways of working, and constantly innovate

? Communicating Between the Technical and Non-Technical - mediate between people and mend relationships, communicating with stakeholders at all levels manage stakeholder expectations and moderate discussions about high risk and complexity, even within constrained timescales speak on behalf of and represent the community to large audiences inside and outside of government

? Maintaining Delivery Momentum - Optimise the delivery flow of teams and actively address the most complicated risks, issues and dependencies including where ownership exists outside the team or no clear ownership exists identify innovative ways to unblock issues

? Team Dynamics and Collaboration - identify problems or issues in the team dynamic and rectify them identify issues through Agile ‘health checks’ with the team, and help to stimulate the right responses engage in varying types of feedback, choosing the right type at the appropriate time and ensuring the discussion and decision stick accelerate the team development cycle

? Planning - lead a continual planning process in a very complex environment plan beyond product delivery identify dependencies in plans across services and coordinate delivery coach other teams as the central point of expertise

? Leadership - Engage others in delivering

a shared vision, and coach, mentor and guide the team and stakeholders
