An exciting opportunity has become available with our prestigious client who is a prominent government department. The client is seeking an experienced Digital Business Analyst to join their welcoming team.

 

The Digital Business Analyst Role:

  • Analyse and understand a business problem or opportunity
  • Undertake research and analysis to understand how a business or business area works, considering the people, organisation, processes, information, data and technology
  • Identify areas for improvement, explore feasible options, analyse the effects of change and define success measures
  • Identify and elaborate user and business needs to enable effective design, development and testing of services and business change
  • Find and document information to enable informed decisions to be made regarding prioritisation of change relating to business processes
  • Analyse as-is and to-be business models to ensure success can be measured
  • Understand business and policy constraints that need to be considered, and assess the implications
  • Understand and analyse user and business needs
  • Leads small-to-medium-sized projects and supports larger and more complex projects
  • At this level, will be expected to manage stakeholder relationships, work independently, have a good understanding of their own work area and advance the BA community through the sharing of best practice


 What the Digital Business Analyst Will Need:

  • Working to an agreed minimum viable product (MVP), print and scope
  • Identify and implement opportunities to analyse and optimise current services and processes
  • Use a wide range of techniques to model situations confidently and gain agreement from SME's and stakeholders
  • Report on system quality and collect metrics on test cases Apply a digital understanding to the work and identify and implement solutions
  • Work innovatively and use the most appropriate tools and methods
  • Identify issues and risks and able to analyse and report test activities and results
  • Requirements Author experience, URD, SRD, Solution Specs, SDPs, Test & Acceptance Strategies, ideally in a Defence Capability setting
  • Demonstrable experience working within an ITIL3 aligned Service area
  • Experience of developing Technical Refresh documentation
  • Experience of developing complex Service Roadmaps
  • Requirements management experience
