An exciting opportunity has become available with our prestigious client who is a prominent government department. The client is seeking an experienced D365 Delivery Manager their welcoming team.

 

The D365 Delivery Manager Role:

A Delivery manager is accountable for the delivery of products and services and the performance of the team. Will build and maintain teams ensuring they are motivated and collaborating. Identify obstacles and help the team to overcome them, focus the team on what is most important to the delivery of products and services, facilitate continuous improvement and apply the most appropriate agile and lean tools and techniques. The complexity or breadth of products or teams will vary in this role, depending on the context.

 

Typical Skills: Identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use and recognise when something does not work. Help teams to manage and visualise outcomes. Listen to the needs of technical and business stakeholders and interpret them, whilst managing their expectations. Report on financial delivery and monitor costs and budget, knowing when to escalate issues. Recognise when to move from one stage of the product life cycle to another and ensure the team is working towards the appropriate service standards. Manage the pace and tempo of the team and address internal and external risks, issues and dependencies. Identify and challenge organisational processes of increasing complexity and those that are unnecessarily complicated. Prioritise the most important or highest value tasks and remove blockers or impediments that affect plans and can develop a plan for difficult situations.

 

The D365 Delivery Manager Need:

D365 F&O experience –
a. Understanding and being able to plan out the key activities
b. Awareness of typical risks and issues and how to mitigate them
c. Bringing resources together from multiple sources to deliver the activities

Project and Delivery Management experience
a. A real drive and tenacity to ensure people are aware of what they need to do and do it
b. Ability to always bring things back to the plan and do what it takes to keep the plan on track
c. Unblocking blockers to make this happen
